That’s why I find myself watching Lost on DVD most evenings and weekends. I heard about this show back in 2004 during its first season because it got rave reviews from critics and won a host of Emmy awards, including one for Outstanding Drama Series. I waited out the second season in case the first was a fluke (like Heroes), and then when the praise continued, I went ahead and ordered Lost on DVD. Of course, since we’re talking about a popular, mainstream network television program here, it’s easy to find Lost on DVD. Every major retailer carries the individual season box sets, so no matter where you live or which store you prefer to shop at, you’ll be able to find this show.

The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, of which the Bride was a former member, are the assassins who make the attempt. The Bride sets out to get her revenge on each member but she needs a special weapon to do it with. This is where the Kill Bill sword comes in. The Bride goes to Okinawa to ask Hattori Hanzo, a legendary swordsmith, to come out of retirement to make her a katana. This is a type of long single edged, curved Japanese sword, used by the Samurai of feudal Japan. The katana has achieved mythical status because of its efficiency in cutting and its remarkable sharpness.
